Bras For A Cause
The Coastal Carolina Artists & Crafters Guild is calling for area artists to show their support for the Fight Against Cancer by creating decorated bras to be voted on and to raise money for the fight against cancer. Here are some of the bras donated!
The CCAC Guild welcomes any and all inspired bras. We appreciate the community support we have received and look forward to continued support. Please download and fill out the form and attach it to your bra donation. Please drop it off at any monthly CCAC Guild meetings or call Laura Voss (be sure to leave a message) 910-938-7077 to arrange a pickup date and time.
The Coastal Carolina Artsists and Crafters Guild is proud to be a part of Bras for a Cause. Anyone- artist or not- can create a bra that is donated to the guild, and then voted on at events or sold, and all profits are given to Southeastern Cancer Care. These photos are from an auction we hosted. We reached out for survivors to be models, who wore all black with the bra over top, and they walked the runway at the Commons while guests bid on the bras and had brunch. We had our very own CCACG member Vox as DJ, Katherine Photographing, and as always, Laura behind the scenes organizing!

This season, we are bringing back something very special from the early days of FTM Fashion Week...Bras for a Cause.
As part of Season 13: Fashion Around the World, local artists and community members will create one-of-a-kind decorated bras that will be featured on the runway by cancer survivors and FTM models.
Each piece will represent creativity, strength, courage, and hope.
Following the runway presentation, the bras will be available for auction, with proceeds supporting Southeastern Cancer Care and the work they do to assist cancer patients in our local community. Purchase your tickets at www.ftmfashionweek.com
But we are especially excited to announce that this is not just a Season 13 collaboration.
Bras for a Cause is now a locked-in community partnership for FTM Fashion Week moving forward.
We are already working with the Coastal Carolina Artists & Crafters Guild on the FTM Fashion Week season-14... Bras for a Cause segment, which allows us to continue growing this initiative year after year and create an even greater impact for local cancer patients and families.
For us, this is what FTM Fashion Week has always been about.
Fashion can entertain.
Fashion can inspire.
But fashion can also serve a purpose.
We are honored to partner with the **Coastal Carolina Artists & Crafters Guild** and to use our runway as a platform for raising awareness, fostering creativity, celebrating survivorship, and giving back to the community we love.
